Observation

Licensor determined during complaint inspection that two weeks prior to the child being injured, a bottle warmer was moved from it's prior location to the edge of the counter exposing the cords. The directors were told to remove the bottle warmer altogether and in it's place use a ceramic mug of hot water to warm the bottles. However they forgot and the infant who is mobile, was able to reach the cord and pull it, causing the warmer with hot water to tip over, spilling hot water on the child which resulted in second degree burns to his right shoulder and torso.
